Autosportradio.com 2015 Show will stream live Tuesday June 9th from McGilvery’s Speedway Irish Pub & Grill, 3009 N. High School Rd, beginning 7PM ET. Program can be seen/heard by logging onto www.autosportradio.com with the program streamed live on YouTube on our home page. Ask questions live on chat & they will be asked of our guest.

One of our Scheduled guests is …

TPTony Parella, CEO of SVRA, the premier & only national vintage racing organization in the U.S., put forth a major effort to re-organize the SVRA after taking over the reins 2 years ago. In relatively short time, Parella has taken SVRA events to some of the most important racetracks in the US, including IMS, Road American Sebring, Watkins Glen, Pocono, Mid-Ohio and Circuit of The Americas, where the rapidly growing organization hosted the first U.S. Vintage Racing National Championships in 2013. Since Tony purchased SVRA no time has been wasted in growing the membership and the events have all been hugely successful. Returning on June 11-14th will be the 2nd Annual Brickyard Invitational at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. With over 700 Vintage cars at the 2014 event, fewer cars will be on site this year, but the 4 days will be packed with some exciting added features as in a classic car show, Earth Wind and Fire, a huge fireworks display and the Motorstalgia auction.

Tickets are available at IMS.com and on-site; children 12 & under free when accompanied by an adult.

Also, between 6:30-8 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (weather permitting), six balloons will launch outside IMS to commemorate the 1909 balloon races that were the first events of any kind at the facility.

50 YEARS LATER: To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Jim Clark‘s Indianapolis 500 victory, several of the cars he drove in his “500” appearances will be displayed.

CLUBBING: A “Show and Shine” event on Saturday in the infield near the golf course will feature hundreds of cars from various car clubs, perfect for walking and taking photos.
